From Highbury and Islington:

Head east on Highbury Station Road towards Highbury Corner. At the large roundabout take the third exit on to Canonbury Road. After 0.5 miles turn left on Essex Road (the A104). After 0.3 miles the pub will be on your left, opposite the Sainsbury's Local.

From Angel:

Head North on to Upper Street. After 0.2 miles turn right on to Islington Green (the A104), leading to Essex Road when the road forks. Continue along Essex for 0.8 miles until on the left there is Sainsbury?s Local. The Pub is opposite.
